Antonina Osiyuk
Antonina just celebrated her 15th anniversary at Moore Family Dental. She is most likely the first warm voice you hear when calling or checking in at the office. Antonina is our office manager. She also works with Nancy handling insurance claims and scheduling. She is an avid gardener; often the “fruits” of her labor can be found around the office.
Nancy Atallah
Nancy is the scheduling coordinator at Moore Family Dental. She has been with the office for over 4 years now. Any billing/scheduling needs are typically handled by Nancy. She is extremely warm hearted and often goes above and beyond in servicing our patients. She is a true gem at MFD.
Virginia Lelli RDH
Virginia is one of the hygienists at Moore Family Dental. Her light touch and warm personality makes her one of our patients favorites. She has been practicing for over twenty years. She started with the office when she and her husband moved to Buffalo several years ago. She has a great eye for gardening and a definite passion for Sponge Bob.
Eileen Halt RDH
Eileen is our newest hygienist at Moore Family Dental. She started out as one of our patients, and was motivated through her own personal experiences here to become a registered dental hygienist. She finished in the top tier of her class at ECC receiving many awards along the way. She has been an immediate hit here treating our new adult patients and their children. She is certified in expanded duties including delivery of anesthesia and placement of sealants. Eileen and her husband have four children and live in Kenmore.
Missi LaPenna
Missi is our main dental assistant. She works chair-side with Dr. Moore helping him with the daily dental procedures. Missi has a soft soul and a very warm heart. She is amazing in the sense that she can relate with everybody on some level. Her great sense of humor and genuine concern for our patients makes her an incredible asset at MFD. She’ll truly make you feel like you’re “one of the family.”
Michael G. Moore DDS
Dr. Michael Moore is a native of the Buffalo area. Raised in Amherst, Dr. Moore attended St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, Canisius College, and finished his education at SUNY @ Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He continued on at U.B. after being accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) program. During this residency, Dr. Moore completed over 100 hours of continuing education focusing on esthetic and cosmetic dentistry. Upon completion of the program, Dr. Moore was hired to stay on as a part-time clinical instructor at the Dental School. He works chair-side with the third and fourth year dental students overseeing them while they are treating their patients. He continues at the University one day a week while focusing the rest of his time on private practice. Dr. Moore prides himself in keeping up with the most current dental training and equipment. He is a Lumineers and Invisalign certified provider.
Dr. Moore is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and our local dental component – the Eighth District Dental Society. Dr. Moore has always been a strong supporter of organized dentistry. He was the dental school’s student representative to the Eighth District Dental Society his third and fourth year, and in 2004 Dr. Moore was appointed Chair to the Council of the New Dentist. He served this position for three years. Dr. Moore remains and active member in the local dental society.
Dr. Moore is married to Erika Smerkar-Moore M.S., D.P.T., the Rehab Specialty Director of Western New York for Amedysis. They live in Amherst with their children: Ava, Gavin, Fintan, and Ronan.
Rick Redmin DDS
Dr. Redmin is a 2002 graduate of the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He completed a one year residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at UB and has been in private practice since.
